Board & Team
Mission Aid 2020 is led by a founding board of Atlantans who believe in second chances — and by a small, growing team on the ground. Officers are elected by the board; the board's first official meeting is November 4, 2026.
Robert Thompson Jr.
Founder & Executive Director
Robert founded Mission Aid 2020 in Atlanta to turn his own second-chance story into a system that helps others find theirs. A CCAR-certified recovery coach, he leads the organization's five programs — legal navigation, education advancement, recovery support, workforce development, and housing navigation — and is the face of Mission Aid in the community.
